The thermometer measures temperatures ranging from -4 to +158 degrees Fahrenheit to the tenth of a degree for precision; Celsius readings are not available with this item. Weather-resistant, the thermometer provides an on/off switch on its base underneath a weather-proof rubber seal. For the best results, install the thermometer out of direct sunlight. Moisten the suction before applying it to a clean window pane to ensure a strong bond. While the thermometer’s screen is not backlit, by painting or covering its backside white, the light from the frame may allow nighttime reading. A pre-installed L1154 cell battery powers the thermometer and can be replaced using a small Phillips screwdriver. Made in China.
